Rick Holcomb
named Director of UTIL-I-FAX
March, 2000 - Rick Holcomb has
been named Director, UTIL-I-FAX, and Leasing Administration,
for Union Tank Car.
In this new position he takes responsibility for the
industry's premier railcar subleasing service while retaining
his present marketing and administrative duties for the
Company's fleet of railroad tank cars and plastics hopper
cars. Holcomb joined Union Tank Car in 1989 as
Supervisor of Special Projects, overseeing the company's
dismantling program for overage tank cars. He was
promoted in 1991 to Fleet Leasing Representative and again in
1996 to Manager of Fleet Leasing. He holds a BS in
Marketing from Illinois State University and an MBA from
Northern Illinois University.
For more than 30 years, Union Tank Car's UTIL-I-FAX,
subleasing service has helped traffic managers balance
utilization of their leased and private railcar fleets by
matching those who have surplus cars with others who need cars
on a short-term basis. Backed by Union Tank Car, the
service maintains car records and provides required
services-including invoicing and collecting receivables.
