Tom Biscan Promoted to Customer Service Rep in Midwest Region

Thomas G. Biscan has been promoted to the position of customer service representative in our Midwest Regional sales office in Chicago.  Tom previously worked in Union Tank Car's Human Resources department as Employee Benefits Representative.  In this role, Tom gained valuable experience answering large volumes of calls from our internal customers and benefit providers.  He joined the company in October 1982 after graduating from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.

Tom has developed considerable knowledge of the tank car industry both at work and on his free time.  Tom also has been an active participant in our Quality suggestion program with several of his ideas being implemented.  In fact, it was his  Quality suggestion that resulted in a car's outage table number being stenciled on the stanchion of the safety
platform.  That good Union Tank Car idea has been adopted industry-wide!

Tom will be assisting many of our Midwest customers with their day-to-day rail car service needs.  You can count on Tom's enthusiastic support as he joins our Midwest UTLX team providing the quality services and products our customers expect.
