Greg Bewley has been promoted to the position of sales representative for Union Tank Car Company's Midwest Regional sales office. April 13, 1999 CHICAGO, IL-Greg Bewley has been promoted to the position of sales representative for Union Tank Car Company's Midwest Regional sales office located in Chicago. In this position he has responsibility for the sale or lease of railroad tank cars and plastic pellet hoppers to shippers in eleven states. Bewley joined Union Tank Car in 1990 at the
company's East Chicago, Indiana manufacturing plant. He
progressed through several supervisory assignments to his most
recent position as Fleet Operations manager of fleet projects.
In that role he has had oversight of the Union Tank Car shops'
efforts to maintain inspection and repair conformance with
regulatory, customer and company requirements. Bewley
has helped facilitate Union Tank Car's new tank test and
inspection programs in response to HM-201. He has also
managed the company's Ready-to-Load program, which maintains
custom car preparation profiles so that ever car delivered to
a customer will exactly meet the standard that has been
proscribed.
