Murawski has been appointed regional sales manager for Union Tank Car Company's Midwest region. From the Chicago office, Murawski will be responsible for the lease and sale of Union Tank Car's full line of railroad tank cars and plastics hoppers in eleven states. Murawski has more than 16 years of experience in the railroad supply industry starting with the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation and including a stint as regional manager of International Locomotive Sales for the Diesel Division of General Motors of Canada. Most recently, Murawski has been senior portfolio manager for GE Capital Railcar Services, with management responsibilities for a 35,000 tank car fleet. Murawski holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University and an MBA from Loyola University.
